As we have done for
generations, we will continue to meet and address the changing needs of our
client families. We will continue to change, not resist it, as some in our
profession have done.
In cremation and
non-traditional services, we will continue to listen to the consumer, and offer
an even greater variety of more contemporary services and merchandise. We
will continue to be flexible, and provide what the consumer wants, not what we
think they need. However, we will also be careful to ensure that the
consumer is making an informed decision by ensuring complete offerings and
disclosures, and explanations on the benefits of each. We will ensure that
our clients receive practical assistance, emotional support, and good value for
their dollar spent.
We will continue to
maintain, upgrade and adapt our facilities, furnishing and equipment, to meet
the needs of the future, while at the same time honouring and respecting the
traditions of the past, and the needs of ALL our client families.
We will continue to
work to keep our operating expenses manageable, so to help keep the final price
affordable for the consumer. At the same time, we must be fair to our
employees and creditors, and ensure that we do charge realistically for our
services and merchandise. We will also continue to be proactive in
providing information to the consumer, so that they understand our pricing, and
realize value in our services.
We will work to forge
operating partnerships with our competitors and associates to assist in keeping
operating costs down, while at the same time maintaining our own high standards
and identity.
Regardless of the
changes in society, our community, our profession, or our business, we will
never allow our high standards of caring service, practical assistance, and
quality facilities to suffer. While funeral service is a business, we will
never lose sight of the sacred trust between ourselves and the bereaved families
we serve. Every family, regardless of their financial abilities, or their
choice in service level, will continue to receive the same care and
compassion.
Ultimately our firm
will continue to think "outside of the norm", we will never try to mold the
consumer to fit our vision. Some things never change - we are here to
serve your family, as you wish to be served.
"The Service You
Want at a Price You Can Afford".
"Comfort
When You Need It Most".
Those are our pledges, and my personal promises to you.
