Mr. Giacinto "Jack"  Provenzano
Mr. Giacinto "Jack" Provenzano, age 66 years, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 in St. Joseph's Hospital.

Jack was born on August 4, 1951 in Nicastro, Italy. He came to Canada in 1958 with his mother and two brothers to reunite with their father, soon after their sister was born. Jack was raised in Port Arthur and attended Hammarskjold High School and Lakehead University. He began working for Nor-Shore Ready Mix Concrete in 1971, eventually becoming the sole owner until his retirement in 2015. Jack was first a family man, but he was also dedicated to his business and customers.

Jack loved to play cards, getting together for weekly social games was something he looked forward to. He also enjoyed bowling and golfing. In his healthy years, he could always be seen with his cousins Tony and Tullio, who were like brothers to him.

Survived by his sons, Peter (Pamela) and Christopher; grandchildren Oliver and Oscar; siblings Tony, Adrian (Luisa) and Claudia (Sonny) Costanzo; uncle Ugo (Elvira) and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and other relatives in Canada, Argentina and Italy.

Predeceased by his parents, Peter Tony and Maria.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, July 14, 2018 leaving the EVEREST FUNERAL CHAPEL, 299 Waverley Street at Algoma at 10:00am for the Funeral Mass at 10:30am in St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church celebrated by Fr. Luigi Filippini. Interment will take place in Our Lady of Charity Mausoleum, St. Andrew's Roman Catholic Cemetery at a later date. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday evening after 5:00pm in the Everest Chapel with Vigil Prayers offered at 7:00pm.

If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Northern Cardiac Fund.
