For some families, protecting their loved one's remains and the casket or urn against the entrance of any environmental elements such as water or insects, is very important.  This is one of the purposes of a Burial Vault.

          At Everest of Thunder Bay, we are proud to offer a broad selection of burial vaults and grave liners.  These range in levels of protection from the basic non-sealed concrete liners, to "sealed" polished fibreglass products to "highly protective" lined  vaults manufactured with a combination of concrete cores with ABS Plastic liners up to Copper & Bronze lining for the maximum protection available. 

          In many communities, cemeteries require the use of some form of burial vault be used with any interment to help protect the stability of the grave and prevent grave collapse.  Presently, in Thunder Bay vaults and liners (while preferred by some cemeteries) are not mandatory.  The final decision to use an outer container is one of personal choice.
