Similar in design to the steel caskets, copper and bronze caskets are generally considered "protective caskets" which means that they are "sealed" to prevent the entrance of outside elements into the casket. Likewise, copper and bronze are naturally resistant to corrosion, so many of these caskets carry warranties ranging up to 75 years or more.
