Mr. Stuart Earl Breiland, age 72 years, passed away peacefully with family by his side in St. Joseph's Hospice on Saturday, May 25, 2013.

Stuart was born on October 4, 1940 in Port Arthur, Ontario. He was employed by the City of Thunder Bay as a Transit Driver for many years, retiring in 2001. Stuart enjoyed travel with his family and the company of his friends from 55 Plus Centre and those from Grenville Ave Apartments.

Stuart will be remembered as a devoted father to his four daughters Judy, Janice, Jeannette (Milton) and Jackie (Rory) and a caring grandfather to his grandchildren Nicole, Valerie, Carolyn, Kyle, Hannah and Dylan.

Stuart was predeceased by his wife Dorothy, his brothers Ron and Bill, and his parents.

As per Stuart's wishes, cremation has taken place and private interment will take place in Riverside Cemetery. Should friends so desire, donations can be made in memory of Stuart to the Grateful Client Program of the St Joseph’s Foundation or The Northern Cancer Fund of The Canadian Cancer Society.

The family extends a special thank you to the staff of 4 North at St Joseph's Hospice for their exceptional care and compassion and also to Dr. Miller and Sue for their support.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Everest Funeral Chapel, 299 Waverley Street at Algoma.
