I attended public school (Five Mile) with Ron for a number of years. While my sentiments regarding Ron's atheletic prowess echo those that have been described here, I would like to add that he was also, quite simply, a great individual. Unfortunately, I lost touch with Ron after those days, although I did run into him from time to time. Nonetheless, I've always considered him as a good friend of mine from grade school. I'm quite saddened to hear of his passing. My deepest condolences to his family.
