My condolences to Kay's family. In May and June of 1962 I was a supply teacher at the Upsala school staying with the McDermott family next to the garage. A young teacher and newly- wed from Nolalu, the community welcomed me and I have the fondest memories of two months enjoying the company of the Gonyou family..including the fire tower.
